I mainly use vi(m), mutt, gcc and galeon, hence graphic performance
aren't that noticeable to me. But xengine reports to me about 4000 now
vs about 8000 without the patch. I don't think there is any loss for
glxgears. As a comparison the ATI driver I think gave somewhere around
5~6000 and less in glxgears. If there is any more specific test you want
me to run, let me know. I have a T41 radeon 9000 with 32M.

>From a seat of the pants experience it seems that the fan is more active
with your patches then with the ATI driver. It comes up earlier and
stays up for longer.

I'll post the radeon and ati modules somewhere next week.
