[ltp] DVI throughput with port replicators/docking stations

=09You can run it at 1600x1200 but then you get little green sparkly
dots in the image.  It's not disastrous, but is fairly obnoxious.  This
seems to be true in Windows and Linux, with the T30 or T40 and the port
replicator.  Though, some versions of the Windows drivers won't even let
you switch it to 1600x1200 (whereas the others let you but give you the
funky picture effect).

=09Someone claimed that you could get around this by tweaking your=20
AGP settings in the BIOS, but I haven't tried it myself.
