Hi James,

nicely done, the only thing I don't understand is, why you didn't ask 
for help on the Madwifi-users list :-) Might've spared you some hassle...

Anyway, for others having difficulties with the Atheros chipset and/or 
the Madwifi driver, I'd recommend consulting the FAQ[1] and the archive 
of the Madwifi-users list[2].
