Hi,

I just thought i should post a solution(ish) to a problem i have had for
a long time, and that other might also have come across.
When ever i used
atitvout -f t
to then play a movie (either mplayer or xine, never tried any others) ,
the bottom third was cropped off, no matter what parameters i passed to
atitvout or what resolution i was operating at, fullscreen or windowed.
What i found the solution to be was to change the video driver in xine
to xshm(not sure if mplayer has this option) from xv, its supposedly
slower, but seems to work fine at 800Mhz.

Reading the xine faq, this seems to be due to a problem with the video
driver.
I hope this is useful to somebody and that i am not wasting every bodies
time with simple stuff.
