The cs4232 OSS module is your friend.

(worked with 2.4.2x, too.)

I had some trouble with irq allocation when I put cs4232 into modules.conf.=
=20
Noticing that it always worked when manually modprobe-ing the driver at a=20
later time, without any options, I somehow ended up putting the modprobe=20
command in one of the init scripts. Ugly, but it works for me.

I am still looking for a way to get ALSA running on that machine. If anyone=
=20
has information on how to get ALSA running on a 770z, please speak up.
