Dear all,

I'm installing my t41 (2373-1FA) with Debian 3.0r2.

I downloaded the kernel-source-2.6.4 and module-init-tools and do the
following

# make defconfig
# make modules
# make modules_install
# cp ./arch/i386/boot/bzImage /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.4

Restart it, all went well.

Now, Installing the slmodem-2.9.6.tar.gz

# make KERNEL_DIR=/usr/src/linux-2.6.4
# make install
# modprobe slamr

I got this error message

Mar 25 06:55:51 nebuchadnezzar kernel: slamr: module license 'Smart Link Ltd.' taints kernel.
Mar 25 06:55:51 nebuchadnezzar kernel: slamr: Unknown symbol cli
Mar 25 06:55:51 nebuchadnezzar kernel: slamr: Unknown symbol restore_flags
Mar 25 06:55:51 nebuchadnezzar kernel: slamr: Unknown symbol save_flags

Anyone experience this and have solution?

thx

Peanut Blossoms

4 cups sugar 16 tbsp. milk
4 cups brown sugar 4 tsp. vanilla
4 cups shortening 14 cups flour
8 eggs 4 tsp. soda
4 cups peanut butter 4 tsp. salt

Shape dough into balls. Roll in sugar and bake on ungreased cookie
sheet at 375 F. for 10-12 minutes. Immediately top each cookie with a
Hershey's kiss or star pressing down firmly to crack cookie. Makes a
hell of a lot.
