[ltp] R40e modem & kernel 2.6

I don't have the same laptop but i managed to get my modem (also agere, but on
t40p) working using the alsa driver in 2.6.5 (think its also in available in
2.6.4) along with the slmodem binary in slmodem.(see the readme)
