I can confirm this.  Rmmod-ing ehci-hcd after a resume, and then
plugging in my USB thumb drive works.  Before, it would just not work or
totally lock up my system. :-)  This is on a Fedora Core 1 system
running kernel 2.4.22-1.2188.nptl.
