[ltp] Wireless LED dead?

I am not sure if my wireless LED is dead or not in my t40p.  I noticed the
other day in window it would not turn on anymore.  I am not sure how long it
has been going but recently I upgraded the bios and the wireless drivers so
I am thinking this might be it.  I am also running fedora core 1 with
madwifi but I never had the LED working.  Is there a way I can check to see
if this is indeed dead or not and if it is, what would ibm have to do to
replace it?
