I never had a single problem with e1000, works perfectly even after suspend/resume (all recent 2.6 kernels, swsusp2, acpi, T41). On the other hand i agree that uhci does have issues. If you could fix the S3 power consumption, this would be really great. I wondered about the reason for that, but how can you debug a suspended computer? :-) Cheers, Volker
