[ltp] Compiling thinkpad modules

This sounds really strange. I don't want to be silly, but what is the 
output of 'uname -r' ?
Because I remember the time I was using lilo I spend hours trying to 
solve a problem when the solution would have been to run lilo so my new 
kernel would get loaded insted of the old one ;-)
