Firstly, thanks to everyone for the sharing of information on this
list. It's been very useful.

I'm running Debian Testing/Unstable on my T40.

I've been avoiding messing around with ACPI so have been using APM for
suspending.

It wall works fine under 2.6.7 but after trying to upgrade to 2.6.8,
when I close the lid or try the Fn-F4 nothing happens at all!

There doesn't seem to be anything APM related different between the
.config for each.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I wanted to upgrade to sort out "Bad EIP" errors when mounting SMB
shares.
