Peter:

Has anyone tried to use ibm-acpi with an A22p?  Also, I noticed that 
folks were having problems with the Thinkpad light and adjusting screen 
brightness.  These are BIOS enabled functions and work without 
installing the acpi modules for Thinkpad with the appropriate buttons.
I will not start using them until I'm assured that I will not end up 
with a non-functioning 'brick'.
