Well, I actually use this one within my T41p and i use the madwifi-driver without problems. This driver is half open source and half binary, because Atheros (brand) supply only binary code of the driver. With this driver a lot of development is going on, I think actually they plan to integrate WPA, but I haven't tried this yet. (http://sourceforge.net/projects/madwifi, and the FAQ (a bit old) http://www.mattfoster.clara.co.uk/madwifi-faq.htm).
