[ltp] x31, X11R6.8 and Xinerama

I just tried to get X.orgs X11R6.8 up and running on my x31
in Xinerama mode - but no success so far.

I have a working configuration for XFree86 4.3.0 (or
something) but with X11R6.8 only the external monitor is
used - the second monitor (the lcd of the x31) is not
detected (?!).

Is there anybody out there who has a working configuration
for X11R6.8 with xinerama on a x31 with ati mobility m6 ly?
