Hello,

i recently migrated from FreeBSD to linux on my notebook and so far i'm
really satisfied with the various new features i can use now, it's
almost as good as in windows ;)

i use radeontool to blank the screen, ibm-acpi to enable the Fn-Fx
key-combinations and tpb for the on-screen-display. suspend-to-ram also
works after i played arround with the IRQ settings in the bios.

however, i have problems with suspend-to-disk while in X (xorg 6.8, DRI
enabled, without DRI it works perfectly). when restarting X after
resume, the whole screen is a mess and the system eventually freezes
after a few seconds. i have tried radeon DRI support in the kernel and
as a module, both ways don't work.

this is only a minor issue since disabling DRI doesn't hurt me that
much, still it would be nice if someone could give me an advice.
