sorry to dissapoint you, but as far i know the current open source 
drivers for the ati mobility 7500 only support opengl v1.2. I current 
run the cvs version of the driver from DRI, and that is still missing a 
few features needed to be opengl 1.3 compliant. Unfortunately ATI has 
decided not to release a driver for these chips because there already 
exists open source drivers.

As far as Mesa goes, the current version 6.21 supports upto opengl 1.5, 
but like i said, hardware exceleraton exists only up till version 1.2 
for DRI drivers.
