Hi

* How have we installed our laptops?
* With all kinds of different methods, really, you name it and we have
* done it. But the most common is by using a USB-CDROM.

Which Linux Distributions will boot and install from USB-CDROM?

I have tried
Mandrake 7.2
Fedorca Core 3
Knoppix
Mandrake 10.2

None of these would recognize my USB-CDROM after the kernel was loaded
and wanted to mount the drives.

Only luck so far: MDK10.2 with alt1 kernel (the old one 2.4 something)

Greetings from Berlin
Peter
