[ltp] Preferred distro for Thinkpads?

apt-get (and yum) is great software, and if you use Synaptic as a front-end=

much better. I used all of that on Fedora Core too. They don't come=20
preinstalled but you can do it from freshrpms.net <http://freshrpms.net>.
