Hi everybody!

My new Thinkpad R52 comes next monday, I'm going to install Ubuntu on it.

I don't want to make partitions on the hard disk, because I have another 40=
=20
Gb Samsung hard disk. I'm thinking about installing Linux on that Samsung=
=20
hard drive, and leave the IBM hard drive intact, with Windows, so I can swa=
p=20
disks whenever I need to use Windows.

But, as I'll mostly use Linux and only get back to Windows few times, I=20
thought it would be better to have Linux installed on the IBM hard drive=20
(which I guess is better than the second, a Samsung).

So I'm looking for a Windows software that will let me clone the IBM hard=
=20
disk, entirely, with all its partitions and data, onto the Samsung hard=20
disk. Then, when I have an exact copy of it, I can wipe off all the=20
partitions on the IBM hard drive and install Linux on it. This way I'll use=
=20
the original equipment with Linux, my main OS, and I'll have the=20
preinstalled Windows and hidden partitions backuped on the Samsung hard=20
drive, ready to use as well.

Do you know what software I can use to clone the disk? I've heard about=20
Norton Ghost but there is no free version to download.
