Hello,

I bought my T43 2668-74G a month ago and installed a Debian Etch with
custom kernel 2.6.14 as fast as I could. So far I have not encountered
any major problems at all. I must admit though that I haven't had time
so far to test (for me not so important) stuff like cd-burning, so I
can't tell about any problems concerning this.

Got some starting problems with the ati driver and suspend, but
thankfully just then ATI released their new driver with suspend support,
so those problems were quickly solved as well.

All in all I can fully recommend the T43 - Linux runs great on it. First
time I installed Linux on a notebook and it just worked from the very
beginning (my previous was a three year old Acer with some very strange
hardware).

About useful pages, just as Arnoud said, thinkwiki.org and tuxmobil.org
are your best friends :)

HTH
  Gina
