Hello,

I have patched my 2.6.14 kernel following :
http://linux.spiney.org/debian_gnu_linux_on_an_ibm_thinkpad_t43p_kernel_configuration

I have also added to my grub configuration these kernel parameters :
ide1=noprobe libata.atapi_enabled=1

In proc i have :

cat /proc/scsi/scsi
Attached devices:
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: ATA Model: FUJITSU MHV2080A Rev: 0084
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 05
Host: scsi1 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
  Vendor: MATSHITA Model: DVD-RAM UJ-822S Rev: 1.61
Type: CD-ROM ANSI SCSI revision: 05

Cdrecord prints me that there is scsibus0 (hard driver) and also
scsibus1 (multi-burner) :

scsibus0:
        0,0,0 0) 'ATA ' 'FUJITSU MHV2080A' '0084' Disk
        0,1,0 1) *
        0,2,0 2) *
        0,3,0 3) *
        0,4,0 4) *
        0,5,0 5) *
        0,6,0 6) *
        0,7,0 7) *
scsibus1:
        1,0,0 100) 'MATSHITA' 'DVD-RAM UJ-822S ' '1.61' Removable
        CD-ROM
        1,1,0 101) *
        1,2,0 102) *
        1,3,0 103) *
        1,4,0 104) *
        1,5,0 105) *
        1,6,0 106) *
        1,7,0 107) *

Then, when i try to writing with cdrecord, i have something weird
(during -scanbus after trying to write) :
scsibus1:
        1,0,0 100) '' '' '' NON CCS Disk

How i can fix this problem ? Is someone has successfully configured his
burner correctly, and how ?

Regards,
