Thanks.  You're so right.  Seems the Windows utility versions
(1xxxxxus.exe) are just selfextracting cab-archives containing, among
other files, the interesting floppy image.  While the "Diskette"
versions (1xxxxxud.exe) contains just the floppy image wrapped in an
old propriatary DOS extractor.

So use the Windows files and extract them with cabextract.
