Oh, yes, that could be. I didn't find anything in the supplied  
documentation and, being there already another screw, I didn't pay it much  
attention.

well, in that same diagram, at the same side of the laptop but much closer  
to the battery (close to the rubber pad too), there is a round shape, and  
the screw seems to fit nicely there, but doesn't lock the ultrabay as far  
as I can tell. Quickly browsing the pdf I didn't find any description for  
this hole, so it might be a red herring, or maybe I'd need a longer screw.  
Anyway, it looks like this screw is the "security" one for the HD.
