Based on the information found in several articles about the fingerprint
reader i think the key to it is not the fingerprint reader itself, but
the security chip. To my understanding the security chip covers routines
to validate keys or passwords. It would make sense that the fingerprint
reader is driven through the security chip and software only needs to
talk with the security chip. Doesn't it?
