Hi all --

Anyone running Ubuntu Hoary on a T40 or similar?

Generally, it's working pretty well, but I've run into one
wierd thing -- sound doesn't seem to fix itself up after an APM
suspend/wake cycle, whereas it did under Debian unstable.

Both were running with a vanilla (non-distro) kernel.

The following seems to fix it:

  killall artsd polypaudio esd mixer_applet
  sleep 1
  sudo modprobe -r snd snd_intel8x0 snd_ac97_codec snd_pcm_oss \
    snd_mixer_oss snd_pcm snd_timer soundcore snd_page_alloc
  sleep 1
  sudo modprobe sound
  polypaudio

but I was wondering if there's a neater fix...
