I have an R50p with the a/b/g Atheros-based adapter in it and the
madwifi-drivers work just fine under a 2.6 kernel on Gentoo.

| Hi!
|
| I'm planning to buy a ThinkPad, and now I'm wondering which WLAN adapter
| is better supported with Linux: The Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG, or the
| IBM 11a/b/g Wi-Fi Wireless?
|
| Do you have any experience and suggestions?
|
| Thanks in advance,
| Christian
