[ltp] boot screen in 640x480 fullscreen or not on r50e

hello,

when i played with the ibm-tools installed on the windows partition i 
found this option which permit to switch between a boot screen expanded 
in full resolution (mine is 1024x768) and have big pixels or to leave it 
in 640x480 and have a little screen in the middle of the screen ... am i 
clear :p

well, if i am, may question is: is there a tool for linux which deal 
with this feature?
