Not that I know of.  Before I started using the OSS[0] modules for my
Cirrus Logic sound-card, the kernel would according to the syslog fail
to reload the ALSA modules on waking up from a suspend[1].  From flaky
memory I can tell that the sound modules would give up loading
themselves and would cast typical ``no init devices found'' errors.

Note:
[0]  I keep my sound levels muted anway.
[1]  I have only ever used APM on this T21.
