[ltp] I need some help on ACPI sleep

No such luck here. I have recompiled the kernel with no framebuffer support=
=20
and i get the same thing with or without x running. black screen with "in" =
in=20
yellow and a white blinking cursor ...

[ btw, I can't really upgrade to 2.6.10 yet as there is a bit of proprietar=
y=20
software that I need for work that stopped working when I tried last ...]

I like Andr=E9 's idea of the system crashing before X re starts but I am n=
ot=20
sure how to diagnose the problem. inspecting the logs did not bring anythin=
g=20
useful so far; i can't even locate the section where the machine tries to=20
resume.

oh well, as for the sleep.sh script, so far, i have just tried with either=
=20

echo 3 > /proc/acpi/sleep
or
echo -n mem > /sys/power/state

they both give exactly the same result.
