A friend recently advised me to get my T21's battery re-charged. I was
- -- and am -- sceptical of such an idea, but he insisted that they
measure the number of cells in you battery that have gone south and
replace those with new ones. I told him I would rather purchase a
brand new battery from the person I bought my refurbished piece than
have its battery re-charged. I was disturbed to hear that, he said,
most of these new batteries are simply re-charged old batteries.

Having been afraid that re-charging the battery might cost me more
than my battery, I am still sceptical of going that route. I would've
if I had an old, extra battery. But, eventually, I think I will need
to once the battery bails out on me.
