Cannot be of great help.

I seem to remember that M6 chips had specific quirks ... try looking 
into the list archive for M6 and see if it can help.

You could also try compiling a 2.6.11-rc2 plus ibm_acpi 0.10, swsusp2 
2.1.5.15 and the radeonstuff patches. This is the recipe that worked for 
some of my problems and they might (just hoping you are lucky) fix yours 
too :)
