Has anyone else with an R51 noticed that the sound comes out
horribly clipped? Music on it is almost unlistenable.

I'm trying to figure out whether this is a bug in the
hardware, or whether it has something more to do with ALSA,
ESD, etc. Any ideas?

If it's a hardware problem, does anyone know whether IBM
would be willing to replace some crucial sound component for
free?
