I burned my own set from windows, using the Access IBM app. I used one CD
and one DVD, but I believe it didn't really say I could use the DVD... I
had read somewhere in the net I could use either 1 DVD or ~6 CDs, so I put
the DVD and hoped it wouldn't ask for more... and it didn't. After that, I
erased the recovery partition.

I haven't used the discs to recover the system, so I can't say whether
they work. I have, however, booted the system from the CD to have some
system info and diagnostics, and it worked. This is an R51.
