Argh, I'm tremendously jealous! With the same hardware, I only get 1500FPS:

7488 frames in 5.0 seconds =3D 1497.507 FPS
7429 frames in 5.0 seconds =3D 1485.639 FPS
7586 frames in 5.0 seconds =3D 1517.120 FPS
7579 frames in 5.0 seconds =3D 1515.703 FPS
7569 frames in 5.0 seconds =3D 1513.677 FPS

Can you give more details about your setup, xorg.conf, and so on?
