[ltp] r51 and external monitor

Michael,

I am interested in a similar setup. I have an x40 with a
docking station. Trying to set it up so I can dock it and
have it switch to my external monitor at a different
resolution but with the same session I had open on my laptop.
Not sure whether X will like a cloned system when the
laptop's monitor has been turned off (when I shut it.)

Let me know what you find out.

Search the archives for someone mentioning Xvattr -- might be
lowercase x. Someone said they'd found an Xv command that
seemed to do it. Been too busy at work to mess around at all.

If what you're trying to do is similar to what I'm trying to
do (I'd also the the ability to have both up simultanously
with some short cut or something), then keep in touch.
Hopefully we can help each other out.

-David
