Correct me if I'm wrong, but does the Xorg "radeon" driver does support
DRI on the Radeon M7 7500 yet?

Here we are - DRI is not enabled at all. Did you load the required
kernel modules? I think at least "agpgart", "intel-agp" and "radeon"
need to be loaded.

Maybe the HOWTO at
http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_DRI_with_ATi_Open-Source_Drivers gives you
a hint?
