No.

But reading over it now, it seems to cover (among other things) the
opposite (PDA client of laptop) of what my HOWTO is about (laptop client
of PDA)

Namely, my HOWTO covers:

laptop --BluetoothDUN--> Cellphone(treo650) --Cell Network--> Internet
