  <pre wrap="">I bought a intel oem minipci card with a pci-id 8086:4220/8086:2701.
Apparently this is not in thinkpad t43 bios whitelist, so the computer
won't boot. I tried that trick to change a control bit in the CMOS,
but it didn't work. T43 now seems to have 242 Bytes in the CMOS
instead of 128 bytes in previous models, although I am not certain on
this.

Does anyone know if there's a bit in T43 CMOS to disable minipci ID
check? and the offset of that bit perhaps? Thanks a lot.
