My A21e does not read well ubuntu cdrom, i've tried to burn it even at
2x speed but nothing, sometime does not boot, sometime hang loading
installer component, even if pass this ever hang copying base system.

Simply a defective cdrom, or it is a known problem with a known
workaround? I've tried pass ide=nodma and using pci for irq but nothing
changed.
