[ltp] pcmcia or usb Midi port ?

I recently bought a A30 thinkpad and for all of the nice
things that came along with that one loss is that there is
no longer any midi/game port available.
On some earlier TPs it was at least available
on the dock or port replicator.

There seems to be pcmcia and usb adapters available but
they only seem to have software support for windoze and mac.
Is this true or does someone on the list know of anything with Linux 
support?
