Hi Alexander & all

>>It looks like I have suspend working OK on my T41 2373-2FG. (Dunno if
>>drain-while-sleep bites me yet.)

It looks like it bites me hard. I left the Thinkpad sleeping overnight
(about 6 hours), and in the morning it was pretty warm. By the time I
got to the office, the battery light had just started flashing orange.

I plugged in AC, opened up and the text console showed some "Back to C!"
text. Previously, this was replaced by X after a second or two. This
time, black screen. Pressing the power button brought back X. I switched
between workspaces, selected some text, everything froze, and the power
went off. Hard reboot. :-(

In short, this doesn't look like sleeping at all. More like pretending
to sleep but reading comics under the covers all night long with a
torch.

No reason. Too much conflicting info on the 'net. I want to keep things
as simple as possible, so I'll gladly lose powernowd if I can.

Thanks for the advice ..
