[ltp] T41p suspend to RAM on 2.6.11.3

hi *.

on a T41p, moving from 2.6.9 to 2.6.11.3, ACPI S3 ceased to resume.

the screen lights up, but the system hangs after the first line. which
gives a yellow "inu" (as opposed to "linux"), but that used to be the
case and okay with 2.6.9.

anyone with similar issues? solved?
