Not to pretend I am the smart kid on the block :)

I reboot from hibernate to disk (swsusp2)  or from sleep to RAM without 
any problems several times a day.

Did you try out 2.6.11.4 with my /really Peter Fruehberger's) patchset 
?? (see previous append iin thread).

I really hope it will make your life easy as mine is ...
