I can confirm this bug. Btw, it seems to suffice to do a `echo 2 >
/proc/sys/vm/laptop_mode` and to wait for a hang. I didn't manage to
provoke such a hang yet, but I'm only seeing it with
/proc/sys/vm/laptop_mode != 0.
