Hi all:

I am running Debian Sarge on my R50 with 2.6.11.5 kernel, I am able to =
put to the system to sleep with out using ibm_acpi module, and Fn+F7 =
works as well, but Fn+F3 dones't generate any event, blank.sh works but =
no blanking if Fn+F3 are pressed. My R50 uses Radeon7500, it is affected =
by battery drain as well but the thinkpad wiki page didn't list it as =
is. Is the above info normal? Am I supposed to suspend the machine =
without loading the ibm_acpi module?
