[ltp] power supply DC cords breaks?

I was making this judgement on the fact that multiple parties reported a 
breakage at the same location near the power supply itself. It happened 
to me when my thinkpad was less than 6 months old... Fwiw, I've also had 
a DVD-writer and system board replaced (the laptop would not even show 
the BIOS screen when powering it up). (And it was treated like a piece 
of gold!)

I bought this laptop at my own expense, and as an ex-IBMer I feel it 
reasonable to expect a quality standard from them that exceeds most if 
not all of the rest.
