Not at the moment.  Unfortunately X doesn't support dynamic
reconfiguration very well right now.  you care pretty much stuck with
your current config until you restart the X server.

You could start multiple X servers and then map them to fn-F7 using
ACPI and the ibm_acpi module then switch between them.
