There are three patches in the Wiki concerning suspend to RAM, which one
did you try?

I wasn't able to get it to work with kernels before 2.6.14, but 2.6.14
and the patch from git as of 2005-09-29 works fine on my T43p.

What do you mean, failed? Did the sleep fail completely? Or did the
resume fail? What commands to you use to initiate suspend to RAM?

You can try to use the hibernate script from suspend2.net with my
configuration file from

Well, your chance to test it on an R52 and report the results in the
ThinkWiki. :)
