Hi,
I've tried nearly everything to get a working supsend-to-ram system with the
fglrx driver, but alway one of the following parts seems not to work:
- high power consumption after suspend
- no 3d support after suspend
- hangs after suspend
- works, but hangs after starting 3d application
- hangs with garbage on the screen
- (..)

okay, the fglrx seems to be garbage !
There is one chance in future, because in a month the new Xorg 6.9/7.0 will be
released and there is a gpl driver for chipsets >= 9500 (included firegl and
other) It makes more sense to search for error in this driver - it's
opensource and the developers want to fix error unlike ati.
You can compile the RC if you want.
